The cottage has miles of walks on its doorstep, lots to do locally and stunning views. Howgill Cottage is particularly perfect for walkers or those looking for a long weekend or short break. The rugged remoteness of the moor-land and scenic walks around the reservoirs offer choice for many types of walking or just sitting and soaking up the breath-taking views.
Howgill Cottage is a studio cottage sleeping two adults. The open plan accommodation includes a comfortable living space featuring a dining table, cosy sitting area with a log fire and television, and a double bed. The studio has a separate fully equipped kitchen, and a shower room with electric shower. All bedding and towels are provided.
Outside the cottage a lawned area offers you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the scenery after a long walk, listening to the tumbling of the water from the nearby gill!
